I am an artist who makes jewelry and sculpture but I also have a passion for collecting. I’m fascinated by the quirkiness, intrinsic beauty, and often amazingly wonderful design that shines through each object— the time, wear and travel that lingers on the surfaces and in the nooks and crevices. I think of all the necks & wrists & fingers that the jewelry has adorned. All the shelves, boxes, basements, attics, shop windows, hopeful hands that have kept the pieces & cared for them…and then where they may wind up next!
